Hydrant Flushing Notice
The Doylestown Township Municipal Authority (DTMA) will be conducting fall hydrant flushing from October 6, 2025, through December 1, 2025.
Flushing will begin in the northern portion of the distribution system and progress southward throughout the program. Hydrant flushing is a routine maintenance activity that helps ensure water quality and proper system operation.
Customer Notice – Effects During Flushing
As a result of this procedure, customers may experience:
- Reduced water pressure
- Discolored water
Recommended Action:
If discoloration occurs, run cold water until it clears.
DTMA uses an automated software program to notify customers when flushing will occur nearby.
