Hydrant Flushing Notice
The Doylestown Township Municipal Authority (DTMA) will be conducting hydrant flushing beginning August 10, 2026. Flushing will occur in the Cedar Crest part of the DTMA system. Streets include: Willow Wood drive, Cedar Crest Ct., Leapson Ln, Burke Circle and Elizabeth Ln.
Hydrant flushing is a routine maintenance activity that helps ensure water quality and proper system operation.
Customer Notice – Effects During Flushing
As a result of this procedure, customers may experience:
- Reduced water pressure
- Discolored water
Recommended Action:
If discoloration occurs, run cold water until it clears.
DTMA uses an automated software program to notify customers when flushing will occur nearby.
