Update from NWWA- 10/25/23:
Milling on Park Avenue should be completed on Wednesday, October 25, with the overlay scheduled to be completed on Monday and Tuesday (October 30th & 31st weather permitting), The contractor will then move to milling and paving the southbound lane of Ferry Road starting at Park Avenue and headed toward Swamp (Rt. 313). There will be delays on Park Avenue with flagging staff in place during the work, but the Ferry Road work will involve a full detour as both travel lanes will be closed to through traffic as both lanes of traffic will be occupied with equipment to complete this paving restoration operation.
Update from NWWA- 9/11/23:
Please be advised that the contractor will commence milling and restoration paving of Ferry Road starting on 9-12-23 in a southern direction from Swamp Road (Rt 313) and headed toward Park Avenue. While the majority of this operation will be to restore the south bound lane of Ferry Road, it unfortunately will SEVERLY restrict (Close) traffic in both directions with exception of emergency vehicles. If you attempt to travel through the immediate work zone during the work hours of 9 am to 3 pm, you will undoubtedly encounter travel delays as the milling and paving operation require both lanes to be closed during this process. NWWA appreciates your continued cooperation as this project continues to near completion.

Update from NWWA-6/16/23:
Please be advised that the work schedule for the summer has been adjusted- therefore the road closure work hours will now take place M-F 8 am to 3 pm. Work is continuing on Ferry Avenue with the bulk of the construction activity taking place between Old Iron Hill and Hagan Court during the week of 6-19-23.
Update from NWWA- 6/7/23:
Please be advised that the water main trench on Park Avenue has all base repairs completed, the contractor will be proceeding to install water main on Ferry Road starting 6-7-23 and which work will proceed over the next several months. While Ferry Road official detour and closing is between Swamp Road (313) and Park Avenue, the initial work zone will commence at Park Avenue to Old Iron Hill.
The current work will take place M-F 9 am to 3 pm until such time that the school season has ended at which time they anticipate working from 8 am to 3 pm.
