Welcome to the Doylestown Township Park Improvement Project!

We’re excited to share that the Community Recreation Center and permanent restrooms are now officially open! The sport courts will be open for use in Spring 2026.

The new Community Recreation Center is now open, offering enrichment programs for all ages and interests, with flexible spaces for classes, workshops, and community gatherings. The restrooms are also open and available for public use. With access to modern meeting rooms, rental spaces, and drop-in activities, the CRC serves as a welcoming place for recreation, learning, and connection—a vibrant hub where residents can stay active, explore new interests, and meet friends.

About the Project

The Doylestown Township Community Recreation Center (CRC) features three multi-purpose rooms, a full-size gymnasium, a warming kitchen, and a spacious patio overlooking the park—making it a flexible venue for programs, events, and community gatherings.

As part of the broader project, Field 1 has been transformed into new tennis, basketball, pickleball, and bocce courts, expanding recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. In addition, permanent restrooms are now open between Kids Castle and the Amphitheater, providing added convenience for park visitors and event attendees.

Feasibility Study

The Feasibility Study includes a report on solar and geothermal energy initiatives.

*This study was conducted during 2020 and some of the projected assumptions from the study may need to be adjusted based upon current economic conditions. Supervisor Nancy Santacecilia wanted to note that she does not believe her statements that are in the appendix of the feasibility study accurately reflect her comments.
