Mission
To ensure that the Health, Safety, Welfare and quality of life of the residents and visitors to Doylestown Township is maintained and improved through the required compliance with the Ordinances, including adopted construction and property maintenance codes, which have been enacted by the residents representatives, the Township Supervisors.

Construction Code
All jurisdictions within Pennsylvania follow the PA UCC (Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code). The PA UCC is the administrative regulation which references the construction codes to be followed; and those are at present the 2018 editions of the ICC (International Codes Council) codes. Accessibility in non-residential buildings follow the 2018 editions or as referenced. The PA UCC is administered by the PA Department of Labor & Industry and you can access the full regulations and see exceptions to the statements made above by visiting their Uniform Construction Code homepage.
- Residential construction projects use the International Residential Code 2018 and additional codes and standards as referenced
- Non-residential/commercial projects use the International Building Code 2018 and additional codes and standards as referenced
