Arbor Day Tree Planting & Mulching Work Day Event in Central Park!

    9:00 AM—11:00 AM

Join Us for an Arbor Day Tree Planting & Mulching Work Day in Central Park!

Celebrate Arbor Day with us by helping plant five sizeable trees near the new cornhole pitch at the bottom of the big hill by Kid’s Castle. After the trees are installed, volunteers will help spread mulch throughout the park, while others can assist in the Native Demonstration Garden. Activities will wrap up at 11:00 AM.

Parking:

  • Lot D near the amphitheater.
  • CRC, Rolling Hill Boulevard, or the New Britain Road entrance and walk the path to the event area from those locations.

All ages are welcome! This is a family-friendly event, and we especially encourage civic groups, Scout troops, and community organizations to join us.Come lend a hand, help care for Central Park, and learn about the importance of trees and environmental stewardship in our community.

Sign up today! 

Shovels will be made available but please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Remember to bring gloves and water.
