We are excited to announce that Doylestown Township has been awarded state funding to enhance our traffic signal systems. This investment is a significant boost for our township, ensuring safer and more efficient travel for our residents and visitors. The funds will be allocated as follows:

  • $184,240 will be used for the modernization of signal equipment at the intersections of Pebble Hill Road & Edison Furlong Road (Route 2049) and Limekiln Road & Ferry Road.
  • $242,700 will be dedicated to updating traffic signal equipment at various locations throughout the township.

The upgrades will include the installation of modern traffic signal technology, improved timing systems, and better pedestrian signals, all aimed at creating a more efficient and safer transportation network within Doylestown Township.

We extend our thanks to Governor Shapiro, Secretary Carroll, and the Department of Transportation for their commitment to improving infrastructure across Pennsylvania. Doylestown Township is proud to be a part of this important initiative and is eager to see the benefits these upgrades will bring to our community.
