Thompson Performing Arts Series returns to the C&N Amphitheater for the 2021 season at the

CB West Jazz Ensemble (no link)

An evening of live Jazz featuring performances by the Central Bucks West Jazz Ensemble 1, Jazz Ensemble 2, the CLAMM Factor Small Jazz Ensemble!  The ensembles will be performing a wide variety of music from classic Big Band selections to cutting-edge contemporary literature.  Jazz Ensemble 1 is under the Direction of Mr. Neil Delson and Jazz Ensemble 2 is the under the direction of Mr. Andrew Carson (CB West Class of 2013).

Midnight Rock Show

Take a trip back to a time, only a few decades ago, when quintessential Rock Stars inhabited the earth. When music was magic, and when you waited for your favorite artist’s next release, just dreaming about what it might sound like, how the album cover may look, or how the liner notes might read. The Midnight Rock Show is a high-intensity 1970s Rock Tribute Band covering the crowd favorites from the Monster Rock era. Zeppelin, Journey, Boston, Bad Co., Styx, Kansas, The Who, Grand Funk Railroad, Eagles and so much more. Centrally located in the NY/NJ Tri-State area, The Midnight Rock Show will keep you entertained with dual-acoustic and electric guitars, powerful drums, energetic vocals, driving bass, mystifying keys and a memorable musical performance!

Laurel Canyon Band

Laurel Canyon is an acoustic tribute to the music of Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young. Featuring recreations of their seminal works as well as songs from their early bands and their solo years, Laurel Canyon is a trio consisting of Grammy Award winning writer/producer Mark Hudson, Hall of Fame Songwriter Gary Burr, and singer songwriter Mark Mirando. Hear all your favorite CSNY songs lovingly recreated by three truly talented musicians.

Big Chill

This talented 6-piece group delivers Classic Rock and Motown the way you remember it – full of the energy, excitement, and passion. With a versatile line-up that features male & female lead vocals, 4-part vocal harmony, guitars, harmonica, keyboard, bass, electronic drums, and saxophone they easily recreate the sounds of the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s right through to today’s contemporary artists.

Where’s Pete Band

Among the top special event bands in Philly, WPB features dynamic lead vocalists, an airtight rhythm section and a high-energy brass section. WPB performs at the top venues in the area and is well known for its eclectic, repertoire that includes an exciting mix of rock, pop, jazz, funk, r&b, latin, country, and dance music. Whether it’s classic pop from the likes of Tom Petty, KC & The Sunshine Band, and Michael Jackson, big band favorites from icons like Frank Sinatra and David Brubeck, or today’s hottest hits from performers such as Adele, and Bruno Mars, rest assured that Where’s Pete delivers the right combination of music to get the party started and keep it going!

Lights Out Vocals (Jersey Beach Boys Show)

Presenting their Jersey Beach Boys show. “Lights Out” has created a new show featuring the best of the Beach Boys. “Imagine yourself listening to the amazing hits of the Beach Boys, while watching the smooth moves of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.” Sing and dance along to all your favorite West Coast hits. This popular multi-talented group has been entertaining audiences for years by focusing on the art of harmony and the pure sound of voices, taking their shows from city to city across the nation. With their infectious personalities, and their love of meeting the  people who see them perform, a LIGHTS OUT show is a MUST-SEE!

Cherry Lane Band

Cherry Lane Band, featuring the CBW Horn Section, is a high-energy group playing much-loved songs from Chicago, Blood Sweat & Tears, Earth Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Steely Dan, and many more. CLB has performed in and around Doylestown since 2001. The band is a local favorite, with a core band of the area’s top musicians accompanied by a horn section comprised of Central Bucks West Jazz Band alumni.

Jesse Garron Elvis Tribute
Date: August 4

Jesse Garron fills a void for those who have never seen an Elvis concert. Some that have even claim Jesse is better. He appreciates the compliment and is humbled by the loyalty of his fans. Jesse performs his show for them and to pay tribute to the American icon.  In 2019 he was inducted into the International Elvis Tribute Artist Hall of Fame for his dedication to keeping Elvis’ legacy alive. Since his first tribute performance in 1997, Jesse has grown to serve venues across the country with an invitation to perform for the United States Embassy in Algiers.  Jesse Garron’s Tribute to Elvis has evolved into a professional show band, dressed in authentic costumes, and providing a genuine portrayal of Elvis in his Vegas years.  The show has prompted billboards, live on-air radio interviews, television promotions and feature articles in print media nationwide.

Sensational Soul Cruisers

Always a fan favorite in Central Park, the Soul Cruisers return to dance the night away in Doylestown! This 11-man horn group fronted by four soulful vocalists pays homage to the very best of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s old school, classic soul, R&B, Motown and disco. The Soul Cruisers capture and emulate the distinctive style, skill and choreography of a classic show band working together to deliver the ultimate Soul Cruisers dance party!

Little Red Rooster

2019 International Blues Challenge winner – The Blues Foundation, Memphis plus Best self-produced CD! Since their formation in 1988, they have become one of the Delaware Valley’s premier blues bands, consistently delivering their own brand of blues, always combined with a crowd-pleasing, high-energy performance and a whole lot of fun! The band has built a community of friends and fans of the blues, one that cannot be matched! They have performed at clubs and festivals throughout the United States and have even toured Europe on multiple occasions.

Flying Ivories

We bring our show right to your door, complete with lighting, sound and two custom-built black pianos and drum set… Next, we belt out an all-request, rock and roll singalong while audience members dance, hoot, holler and even join us on stage for a show that’s part music, part comedy and all fun. From Billy Joel to Aretha Franklin, from Sinatra to Metallica, from Garth Brooks to Madonna, we have got “everyone” covered. You control the set list, so no two shows are ever the same. Our performers are the best around. Hailing from Broadway to Vegas, our mega-talented musicians keep the quality high and the party roaring.

Bucks County Choral Society
