Cooling Center To Be Open


With the heat warning in place for next week, Doylestown Township’s Community Meeting Room located in the Administrative Building will act as a Cooling Center on Monday, July 20, 2020 and Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The room is be sanitized and will provide air conditioning, water fountains and restrooms.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, masks are required and social distancing will need to be maintained.

What is a Cooling Center?
A cooling center (or “cooling shelter”) is a location, typically air conditions or cooled building that has designated as a site to provide respite and safety during extreme heat.
