How the 2020 Census will invite everyone to respond?

Every household will have the options of responding online, by mail, or by phone. Nearly every household will receive an invitation to participate in the 2020 census from either a postal worker or a census worker.

What to expect in the Mail

According to census.gov you should except to have received an invitation in late March of 2019, followed by a reminder letter. If you still did not respond they sent out a reminder postcard followed by a reminder letter and paper questionnaire in April of 2019. By the end of April, a final reminder postcard was sent. If you did not respond to the invitations in the mail, they will follow up in person.

How to respond online

The US Census now has new technology to make it easier to respond to the census. For the first time, you will be able to respond online at http://www.2020census.gov.Utilize
